As a key member of the U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP), Casey has consistently proven himself on the international stage—serving as captain for the 2008 birth year team in two major tournaments and earning a call-up to the U18 squad for the second half of the season.
Casey is among the top scorers in the NTDP, playing a powerful and intelligent 200-foot game that sets him apart. Casey brings a complete skill set and relentless motor every time he hits the ice. He is committed to Boston College and projected to be a top-40 selection in the 2026 NHL Draft.

Hailing from Louisville, KY, Chyna Taylor is one of the most exciting rising stars in American hockey. In 2024, she earned her first selection to the U.S. Women’s U18 National Team, making an immediate impact on the international stage. Chyna was named Player of the Game in the Gold Medal matchup, showcasing her poise, leadership, and elite athleticism when it mattered most.
A natural leader both on and off the ice, Chyna embodies the core values we champion at Slice Guard: grit, integrity, and performance without compromise. With a future as bright as hers, Chyna represents the next generation of athletes who are changing the game—and doing it with purpose.

Sam Fishbone is one of the top 2010-born defensemen in the country — a dynamic, high-IQ blueliner with elite puck skills and offensive instincts well beyond his years. He currently plays for the Boston Jr. Eagles U14 team, ranked #12 nationally, and suited up for St. Sebastian’s School as an 8th grader, competing at one of the top prep programs in New England.
From Needham, MA, Sam is best known for his poise under pressure, precision passing, and ability to quarterback the play from the back end. He is a perfect example of a new age defenseman. His creativity and vision make him a constant offensive threat, while his confidence and skating ability allow him to impact the game in all three zones.
As a rising star in the 2010 birth year, Sam joins Slice Guard to represent the future of the game — skilled, smart, and fearless. We're proud to have him on our team.
Joining us from Nashua, NH, Vicki Hausberger is a standout leader and relentless competitor. As the first-ever four-year captain at Lovell Academy, she has set the standard for leadership, work ethic, and accountability within the program. Vicki is also the co-founder of Powerhaus Performance, a testament to her entrepreneurial drive and commitment to empowering athletes on and off the ice.
A dependable and poised defender, Vicki plays a smart, simple game built on elite skating, strong decision-making, and a team-first mentality. Her leadership is quiet but commanding—she leads by example and pushes those around her to reach their highest potential.
Having earned a spot at USA Hockey’s National Development Camp, Vicki continues to make her mark. In the fall of 2026, she’ll take the next step in her journey at Merrimack College, where she’ll reunite with her sister and continue building her legacy.

A native of Westwood, MA, Gavin Joyce is cut from classic Boston hockey cloth. He grew up playing for the storied Boston Jr. Eagles program, where he developed a reputation as a relentless competitor and true team player. Following in the footsteps of his father and two older brothers—proud members of the Boston College hockey family—Gavin has his sights set on continuing the legacy at The Heights.
A hard-nosed, 200-foot forward, Gavin brings physicality, grit, and a fearless edge to every shift. He thrives in the dirty areas, battles with purpose, and plays the game the right way. Beyond his physical presence, Gavin is a natural leader whose work ethic, energy, and unselfish play make him a glue guy in any locker room.

Sydney Stoughton is a force on the ice and a leader in the locker room. A native of Mason, Ohio, Sydney plays at the powerhouse Lovell Academy, where she serves as a team captain and a cornerstone of the program’s leadership culture. Her high-level play and relentless work ethic earned her a spot on the U.S. Women’s National U18 Team, where she continues to represent her country with pride and purpose.
As a power forward, Sydney brings physicality, speed, and a booming shot to every shift. Her ability to win battles in tight areas, outmuscle her opponents and finish with confidence makes her a threat in all three zones. Beyond her skill set, Sydney is known for her calm demeanor, discipline, and ability to lead by example — both on and off the ice.
Sydney joined the Slice Guard ambassador team because she shares our mission: protecting players without sacrificing performance. Her voice has helped us shape a product built for athletes like her — strong, fast, and ready to compete at the highest level.
